Organizations

Impacting communities through partnerships and organizational funding

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for lifting others. This is primarily achieved through developing unique, holistic partnerships with organizations who address issues of inequity.

Angel House Orphanage

Tarime, Tanzania

Angel House Orphanage started as a small building with a big purpose. Now, with over five buildings including a school, a home for the orphans, a computer lab, and a hostel, Angel House has changed the lives of hundreds of children. It is changing the lives of hundreds of children.

In 2015, the Board of TE decided to sponsor several Angel House students to ensure that their futures were secure. We encourage them and they encourage us. We are blessed to be able to help make their futures bright.

In 2018, Becky, Emily, and Frans were able to go to Angel House and meet many of the children we have since added to our sponsor list and have developed a meaningful relationship with each child.

Hope Clinic

N'Zao, Guinea

Hope Clinic is a medical/surgical center in the small village of N’Zao, Guinea. Among many things, the clinic is an outpost for Mercy Ships, and sees anywhere from 60-80 new patients every single day, most of whom cannot afford to pay medical bills. Jon Erickson is the founder and director of Hope Clinic, along with his wife Anja and his dearest friend, Moise.

In 2014 during the height of the Ebola virus, Jon came to America to fundraise for the clinic. While Jon was learning how to best defend his employees and his village from the virus, Moise was in the village attempting to teach the people about the disease while spraying down houses with disinfectant. The villagers thought Moise was spraying their houses with the virus. They attacked and killed Moise and 8 other people. Although this was a trying time for Jon, Anja, and their team, they continued to educate their village about Ebola and love their village and the people they serve without reserve.

Talents Empowered wholeheartedly supports Jon and Anja as they continue to aid their village and honor their friend.
